Widgets are practical unisex shoes made from genuine leather. They are manufactured in Europe according to NATO AQAP 2110 standards at the same factory that produces one of the most legendary military boots, the M77. The same manufacturer has also worked with renowned brands such as Dr. Martens and Rossignol. You can therefore be confident that these military-inspired quality shoes are robust and durable.
The name "Widgets" originates from the industrial area of Tartu, Estonia, where the historic shoe factory is located. During the Soviet era, the area was used to manufacture rubber products and secret military equipment. To conceal the true nature of production, the workers referred to the products simply as "widgets." Today, the area is home to creative businesses, artists, designers, cafés, and naturally, the shoe factory.
Widgets are suitable for women, men, and children. For women and children, we recommend ordering one size smaller.
